BREAKING: Uche, the 300l UNIBEN Pharmacy student who was unjustly incarcerated by the Nigerian Police, has been released.

On behalf of the STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT, I write to inform the general public that our brother,  our friend and our colleague UCHE the pharmacy student that have been in  police custody since on the 2nd of JULY 2017, have been RELEASED after he was granted bail. 

In the early hours of today, he was escorted out of OKHO PRISON by the ever corrosive and gallant STUDENT UNION LEADERS. 

As for UCHE'S academics, the Vice chancellor PROF F. F. O. ORUMWENSE has promised that his academics will be given adequate and prompt attention through the DEAN OF STUDENTS PROF O. B. OSADOLOR and he is expected on campus tomorrow .

We want to reassure UNIVERSITY OF BENIN STUDENTS that we are always ready to manifest our manifestos any time, any day and any where. 

As for the strike by ASUU, We also want to plead with UNIBEN STUDENTS to stay calm because we believe and hope that we will hear GOODNEWS soon.
